Collagen PIN Microneedling

Available in Grand Junction and Montrose!

About The Procedure

Collagen PIN (also known as micro-needling) is a method of introducing a controlled injury into the skins dermal and epidermal which introduces growth factors; collagen and elastin. The process causes much less damage to the outer layer of the tissue than dermal rolling or ablative laser treatment. The Collagen PIN can be treated on the face, neck, décolletage, hands, arms, legs, abdomen and back. Typically a series of 3-6 treatments is recommenced depending on the area or correction or concern.

During Your Procedure

Prior to the treatment the provider will apply a topical numbing agent. The majority of patients report little to no pain (at all) once the agent has been applied. The treatment takes about 30 minutes to one hour.

Collagen PIN is considered a no down time treatment. Immediately after your treatment your skin will look moderately red such as a light sunburn.

The Collagen PIN micro-needling treatment is a safe and effective method to activate cellular regeneration of collagen and elastin which results in addressing and correcting most major skin concerns including fine lines and wrinkles, aging, sun damaged skin, peri-oral rhytides (laugh lines), melasma, hyper-pigmentation issues, acne scarring and rough texture.
